The correct suspension enhancement system for your 2007 Jeep Liberty is the Firestone Vehicle Suspension for the Jeep Liberty, # F4146, that you have referenced. I have included a link to the installation details below. Air springs are used primarily to keep a vehicle level with loads in the actual vehicle and less to compensate for a sagging vehicle from a heavy trailer tongue load.
For heavy trailer loads, a weight distribution system is the better solution for a sagging tow vehicle. With a weight distribution system installed correctly, the vehicle axles and trailer axles will each take some of the tongue load off of the back up the vehicle, decreasing sag, and help with steering and trailer sway.
The springs do not come with an air compressor, but you can get a separate kit that comes with a compressor and will allow you to inflate and deflate the springs from the cab of your vehicle. Take a look at the Firestone Level Command II, # F2158. It comes with a compressor, gauge, and lines and will allow you to inflate the air springs. I have included a link to the installation details below.
If your hitch is not rated for use with weight distribution, you can add one. I recommend the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # 87006. This hitch is rated for 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 500 pounds tongue weight capacity. With weight distribution it can handle as much as 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 750 pounds of tongue weight capacity. Check your owners manual to determine your vehicles towing capacities. I have included a link to the installation instructions below.
With Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # 87006 installed, you can then add Reese Round Bar Strait-Line Hitch, # RP66077 and shank # RP54970. This system comes with built-in, dual-cam sway control that stops trailer sway before it starts. It is rated at 400 to 800 pounds tongue weight capacity and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have included links to the installation details below. If you do not want to add sway control, you can just use weight distribution system # RP66066 and shank # RP54970. I have also included an FAQ on weight distribution and sway control.
