Question:
Does this kit come with instructions on how to install into a 2006 Audi A6 not the Avant model? If so, are they specific for that vehicle, or general for all applicable models that this harness goes to? Thanks.

It does come with a set of instructions, but they are not vehicle specific. They are a generic instruction of how to install the part, but you will need to locate the proper wires in the trunk yourself.
I have added links to a couple videos of this part being installed. It shows the process and will explain how to test and find the right wires to tap into.
