If your 2008 Ford Escape has a factory roof rack with cross bars that run side to side, then the Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Carrier Box, # TH78GC, is one of the boxes that will fit your vehicle.

If your Escape just has factory rails that run front to back, you will first need to add Thule Roof Rack which consists of parts # TH710401 and # TH7122400. You can then add the cargo box.

If you have no rails or crossbars (a naked roof), you will need to add a complete system. The available complete roof rack system for your Escape is a Yakima system. You need:
