Does this brake controller install the same on a 2010 Chevy Silverado as on the 2009 Silverado?

Yes, it will install the same way. In 2007 when GM switched the body styles they eliminated the brake controller port and went to a bundle of wires. They have been using this bundle since 2007 so the install will be the same. I have added a link to an article on how to wire a brake controller on late model GM trucks. It provides a wiring color code as well as some pictures to help you locate wires and connection points.
