Locating Brake Stoplight Switch Wire for Installing Tekonsha Prodigy on 2006 Honda Pilot
Question:
I just bought a prodigy brake controller from e-trailer to put in a 06 Honda Pilot. There is 4 wires from the stoplight switch. Which one do I connect to and will it interfere or hurt anything?

To find the correct circuit to tap the red brake controller wire into, use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. Test each wire coming off of that brake switch until you find the wire that only shows current when the brake pedal is pressed. This circuit is sending voltage to the brake lights on the vehicle, connecting the brake controller into this circuit will not damage anything.
I will provide a link below that will show how to use the circuit tester, in case you are not familiar with its use.
