Bike Rack Adapter for a Womens Bike Frame on a Thule Ridgeline Bike Rack

looking to purchase one of these bikes racks TH954. my question is. i just got my wife a 09 trek 7200 womens hybrid bike. the one with the u shape for girls type. is that bike able to hitch up to this rack? or do i need to buy an accesory?

With the Thule Ridgeline bike rack, item # TH954, you will need a bike adapter for your alternative frame bike. I suggest using the Thule Women and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter Bar, item # TH982XT, to hitch up your bike. The adapter bar would connect to the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, and would provide a level attachment point to the bike rack.
