Where to Find the Taillight Connectors to Install a T-One 4-Pole on a 1983 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a 1983 Ford F250 in which I am going to hopefully install a vehicle this wiring so that I can tow my Trailer. The Trailer has a Flat 4 pole connector, I see that this item Plugs into a Plug? I been under my vehicle and I have never seen a place to plug this 118313 into. Can yo be of some assistance? Thanks for the help.

You are correct. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 118313, does plug into the existing wiring on your 1983 Ford F-250. It is not an empty plug that is easily visible. What you will do is plug in this harness in line with your vehicles taillight wiring. You will need to locate the taillight wiring harness inside the left rear frame rail on your truck.

You will then plug the T-one harness in line using the existing taillight connectors. Next find a good place to ground the unit like the vehicle frame or, if near enough, a grounding point already in use. Then you would just have to run the 4-pole end to where you want it on the back of the truck.
