Question:
Will this work well on my MPV or should I go bigger, I will be towing approx 2200 lbs. I heard to use the largest cooler possible, but I am afraid If I go to large it would block airflow to the radiator? Also there is a factory transmission cooler already installed not for towing. Would I replace that one with this or would they go inline and if so how would I do the install on that? Thanks

Transmission coolers are universal fit items, if you have space in front of your radiator then it will fit. The installation can be done with average mechanical ability.
On the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13502 the overall dimensions are 11 inches wide x 7-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inches deep.
On the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504 the overall dimensions are 11 inches wide x 12 inches tall x 7/8 inches deep. If after measuring your clearances and there is room for either one the bigger cooler is better and neither cooler will impede the airflow to the radiator.
You do not have to do anything with the factory transmission cooler it will work just fine with the new cooler. The new cooler is installed inline.
I am adding a link to a transmission cooler video which I thought might be helpful.
