Brake Controller for a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I am interested in the Tekonsha Powertrac Time Delayed Electric Brake Controller part 39523. I have a 2008 Chevy 1500 Silverado with a class three hitch and 7 pole electrical connector. It seems as if all the tail light flash when the hazard lights are activated so I expect I would need the Pulse Preventer, part # 5501, but I'm not sure. Also, would I need the Brake Controller Adapter to plug in under the dash? The trailer is a 25 Holiday Rambler tandem axle.

The pulse preventer 5501 would be a good add on if you are planning on using your hazards often. There is not a plug in connector for the Tekonsha Powertrac brake controller 39523 for your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. To wire this controller to your vehicle, you would use brake controller installation kit 5505 and directly hardwire the loose wires from the controller.
