Is there an Amperage Limitation for the Trailer Connector Adapter, # TC-127

Question:

This might be purely a function of the plug but if theres a current limitation Amps at 12VDC on the sockets in this device, please advise. Tnanks in advance!

I spoke with my contact at Wangs International, the manufacturer of the Trailer Connector Adapter, # TC-127, about its capacity. Essentially what he told me is that it can handle the same as your electrical system can handle. So anything that would overload your electrical system should not be used. They tested it with light duty applications such as: compressors, spotlights, coolers, TVs, and vacuums. The plug should not be used for high Amp applications like powering a winch. Beyond that there were no numbers or ratings he could give me.
