What size drill bit do you need to drill the holes to mount this to a 2003 Buick Rendevouz?

For installation on a 2003 Buick Rendezvous, the bolts are 3/8 inches in diameter, so do not drill larger than that. You can start a size smaller (5/16 inches) and see how difficult it is to tighten a bolt. You can always go bigger. But if you start too big you will not be able to make it smaller. I have included a link to the instructions for the Valley Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver, # V82571, below. If you have difficulty drilling remember to go slow and steady. You may need a special bit called a rota-broach bit if your regular bits cannot penetrate the steel.
