5th Wheel Installation Kit for 16K Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch on a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500

Question:

Purchasing a 2010 dodge 3500,I would like to use hitch from previous truck reese 30047 16k with 30048 slider is this rail kit 50062-6008 compatible with this hitch for 2010 dodge. I am not removing rail kit from previous truck,I would like to use hitch on both trucks and only install rails on new one.

You can use Universal 5th wheel installation kit, # RP30035-186 for a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Series with 6 foot and 8 foot beds. The slider and hitch will fit in the rails with this installation kit. I have included a link to the installation details for this kit below.

The Reese Quick-Install custom installation kit for the 2010 Dodge Ram 3500, item # RP50140-58, will also work if the truck you purchase does not have the gas engine and overload springs. This kit installs in half the time of the universal installation kit and minimizes drilling.
