When installing do you need to cut any of the rear bumper out? There is a piece of tin in the rear, does it go between that and the bumper?

With the Valley Trailer Hitch, # V82372, you will not have to cut or trim any of the rear bumper. It is a simple bolt-on, three step installation process. I have included a link to the instructions below. The only issue would be if you have the optional tow hook installed on your vehicle. If so, it will have to be removed to complete installation of the hitch. You could then reinstall the tow hook. The piece of tin will remain in its original position according to the directions.
