Capacities of the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # 87530 With and Without WD on a 2007 Dodge Ram

Question:

I have a travel trailer that weights 4000lbs unloaded with a weight dis system. Is this hitch more than enough to pull it? When it says 10000 lbs weight dis does it mean trailer weight can be 10000 lbs with weight dis hitch?

The Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # 87530, can handle up to 6,000 pounds gross trailer weight. So it will be able to handle your travel trailer. If weight distribution is added, the hitch is rated to pull 10,000 pounds of gross trailer weight. However, you need to check your owners manual to determine the towing recommendations for your vehicle. You do not want to exceed the capabilities of your vehicle.
