Will Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover, # HCC11569 Fit a 1-1/4 Inch Receiver

Question:

I really like this hitch cover. Will it fit a smaller hitch? I have a 2006 Ford Explorer, hitch is about 1 1/2 to 1 1/4. Will this cover fit those dementions?

The Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover, # HCC11569, will not fit a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver. It is made to fit 2 inch by 2 inch receivers only. When searching for a hitch cover, be sure to look at those that fit your size receiver. In this case a 1-1/4 inch receiver. If you want to use the Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover, # HCC1569, you could use an adapter like the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, # HTAD. Then you can use a 2 inch receiver cover.
