What Are the Dimensions of the Master Lock Coupler Lock, Part # 2847DAT

WHAT ARE THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS WHEN THE LOCK IS INSTALLED? WHAT IS THE END CAP MADE OF OPPOSITE TO LOCK? LOOKS LIKE PLASTIC, IS IT COVERING A STEEL BUTTON HEAD?

The pin of the Master Lock Coupler Lock, part # 2847DAT is 4 inches long. The pin has detents that allow it to fit latches up to 2 inches wide. The end cap is constructed of high impact plastic, and there is a metal button underneath that will prevent the pin from passing through the coupler latch if the plastic cap is removed.
