Question:
Can I use a crossover tool box with a signature 5th wheel and still be able to clear the box. I have a 2010 gmc cc w/8ft bed. Will I need to get a extended pin box to make turns?

You can most likely use the tool box, but I would recommend taking a few measurements to make sure there will not be any clearance issues. You will need to make sure that the height and depth of the tool box will not interfere with the fifth wheel trailer.
If the height of the front of the trailer loft clears the top of the tool box by at least 6 inches, you should be just fine.
The fifth wheel hitch is installed on the truck so that the king pin sits directly over the center of the rear axle. If the tool box sits higher than the front of the trailer loft, measure from the rearward most point of the tool box back to the center point of the rear axle. From this result, subtract half the width of the trailer. If you end up with a positive number, the trailer will clear the tool box.
