Using a Standard Ball Mount with the Stealth Vertical Hitch for the 2005 Dodge Magnum

Question:

I have a ball mount from a previous vehicle. Im wondering if I can buy the Valley Stealth Vertical Trailer Hitch 2 and simply attach my ball mount to that? Or maybe that would be too long and put too much stress on the hitch? What if the Valley Stealth Trailer Hitch Vertical Ballmount isnt the correct height for my trailer application? 2005 Dodge Magnum.

The Valley Stealth Vertical Trailer Hitch 2 inch Horizontal Receiver Adapter, item # V76462, is not designed for towing. This adapter is only designed for hauling bike racks and cargo carriers behind your Dodge Magnum.

For towing applications you will need to use the Valley Stealth Trailer Hitch Vertical Ball Mount, item # V76452, for towing with your Magnum. If the height is not right for the trailer you will be towing you most likely should not pull that trailer with this vehicle.

If you want to stay with your original ball mount then you can order a Class 3 trailer hitch like the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 13465.
