- Essentially you will cut a notch out of the fascia. It will probably be 1-3/4 inches wide due to the outside width of the receiver tube. I am not sure how far up the notch will have to be made. It may sit directly behind the bumper cover, so you would have to cut a 2 inch square hole in the center of the fascia. It does not have to be done by a professional, but not everyone is comfortable doing it. You will need a utility knife with a few blades to cut the notch.
