Putco PURE Headlight Light Installation - 2007 Mazda 6

Today, in 2007 Mazda 6, we're going to install product number P230100SW from Putco. This is a pure H1 halogen headlight bulb. This is what it looked like before we install the bulbs. Now, we'll go ahead and remove the factory bulbs and install new Putco bulbs. Our headlight bulb is located on the outside of the headlight assembly towards the outside of the body. Behind this cap is the bulb and then there's a little wire latch inside it.
Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Mazda 6

Today on this 2007 Mazda 6 we are going to be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 24775. This installation will also apply for Hidden Hitch part number 60846. The first thing we want to do is to go inside the trunk and remove the spare tire to get it out of our way. Moving underneath the vehicle you can see we have got dual exhaust. We want to lower down the exhaust system next to give us more room to work. There are three hangers that we are going to need to lower the exhaust off of. One here at the rear on the driver and passenger sides. If you follow forward to where the two exhausts meet there is a third hanger right there. 00:37
Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Mazda 6

Today we are going to be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 24832 on a 2009 Mazda 6. OK, we are underneath the vehicle now and we want to go ahead and point out the mounting locations for the trailer hitch. Before we can do that, we actually need to lower the exhaust out of the way. To do that, we need to remove it off of three hangers. We have got one here on the passengers side, one on the drivers side, and then one dead center of the vehicle. To remove the exhaust off of its hangers, it is a good idea to spray the studs down with a spray lubricant like a WD-40. Before I remove the third forward hanger from the vehicle, I want to do two things.
Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Mazda 6

Today we are going to install part number 60846 from Hidden Hitch on our Mazda 6, 2006 model year. On some models, two holes have to be drilled out, basically in this general area here and right here. There is a bolt and plate that gets installed right there. Some models will have the hole pre-existing, but in this one we will have to drill them out. Our next step is to go ahead and lower the exhaust to a level where we can do our install. There are three rubber hangers to be removed: this one right here, one back in the center and then one on the passengers side also. We also put in this temporary strap here so when we lower the exhaust we have something to control it as it comes down and we can actually support it at a specified height.

- Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations fora 2004 Mazda 6 Sedan with Rear Spoiler
- After looking at some pictures of a 2004 Mazda 6 spoiler I do not believe that a trunk mount bike rack will fit without interference with the rear spoiler. The best option is going with a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike rack. The benefits of this are that the hitch can be used for other things besides a bike rack and with a hitch mount rack the bikes are kept off of the car.
For a trailer hitch you can use # C11308. Since you want to use the hitch for a bike rack you will need to use a sta

- Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2004 Mazda 6
- Yes, the Curt trailer hitch with ball mount # C113083 will fit a 2004 Mazda 6. However if you just want a hitch for use with a bike rack you can save some money by getting the same hitch without the ball mount # C11308.
Since you want to use the hitch for a bike rack you will need to use a stabilization strap, # 18050, to be in compliance with Curts warranty requirements. You will also be limited to carrying 2 bikes at most with the Class I trailer hitch and will need a rack that is compatibl

- Trailer Hitch Recommendations for a 2005 Mazda 6 Sedan, Hatchback, or Sport Wagon
- The best way to avoid all of that is to get you the correct hitch the first time. For the 2005 Mazda 6 there is a sedan, a hatchback and a Sport Wagon. Trailer hitch # 60846 will fit the sedan and the hatchback. For the Sport Wagon you would use a hitch like # 60857.
If you are not sure if you have a hatchback or a wagon the hatchback will be about the same length as the sedan, the wagon will be longer. Hatchbacks generally have a more stubby rear end and limited cargo space whereas the longe

- Installation of WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats # WTW71 in 2013 Mazda 6
- The WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats # WTW71 you referenced for your 2013 Mazda 6 are semi-custom floor mats, meaning while they are not custom-made specifically for your vehicle, they are made to fit cars that are similarly designed. As such, in most cases there should be no need to trim these mats to fit in the front floorboards of your vehicle.
I have included a link to the instructions for the proper installation of this product.

- Can a Trunk Mount Bike Rack be Used on a 2004 Mazda 6 with Rear Spoiler
- I do have a solution for you but the spoiler on your 2004 Mazda 6 is going to interfere with the safe mounting of a trunk mount bike rack.
What you can do is install a trailer hitch, like # 24775, and use a hitch mount bike rack. For a bike rack you need one that is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch. I recommend the Swagman Titan, # S63400. This bike rack comes with anti-sway cradles, the ability to tilt down, and an integrated cable lock. It also has a rise in the shank for better grou

- Availability Of Bike Rack To Fit a 2005 Mazda 6 Hatchback
- I do have a way to carry bikes on your 2005 Mazda 6 Hatchback, but it is not with a trunk mounted bike rack. A trunk bike rack will not be able to be used on a 2005 Mazda 6 Hatchback model because the hatchback will not be able to carry the weight of a trunk bike rack.
I would recommend to use a hitch like the Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 24775, along with the Thule Vertex 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH9028. I am including links to the installation instructions of the hitch and a vi

- Yes, the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier # TH911XT that you referenced will work on your 2006 Mazda 6 as long as it is not the hatch model.
As long as you keep the contact points of the rack and your car paint clean and you do remove the rack when not in use you should not have a problem with the paint of your vehicle getting scratched.
If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to

- Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2005 Mazda 5 Wagon

If you prefer, you can also go with the Draw-Tite hitch and just get the recommended draw bar and pin kit, part # 3593, separately if you need it in the future. Out of all of these bike racks, I think the Raceway 3 is the best choice. It is very light weight, under 13 pounds, and the retractable cables make it quick and easy to install. Out of all of the trunk mounted bike racks I have used, the Raceway has been the easiest to inst

Hidden Hitch model # 60857 does not require you to lower your exhaust to complete the installation, as the entire hitch assembly runs along the center of the vehicle, between the exhaust.

I did some research and found that other Mazda 6 owners run into the same problems. I found that to provide additional room there are a few things you can unbolt or remove temporarily.
Before you begin, it is best to disconnect your negative battery terminal. Also, when replacing the bulbs, you will want to make sure to wear gloves as it is i

- Where to Connect the Wires On a 2007 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon
- Wiring the Mazda 6 sport Wagon for a 4-Way trailer connection is pretty easy. We do not have a specific wiring diagram for the Mazda 6 Sport Wagon but the only directions that would be different is how to get to the tail light wiring behind the tail lights. All I can tell you at this time is that you will need to figure out how the tail lights are installed and remove them or access their wiring somehow. Many times this requires removing interior panels on each side of the vehicle.
