Thule Spare Tire Bike Racks Review - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're test fitting the Thule Spare Me. This is a spare tire-mounted 2-bike rack. This has been designed to fit on several different sizes of tire. Part number on it is TH963PRO. Now the Spare Me that's a great job of fitting on our spare tire. We can go anywhere from the 215 tires all the way up to even your 33 12-1/2s.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're test fitting the Maxx-Tow 21 by 48 aluminum cargo carrier. This has been designed for use in 2" hitches. Part number on it is MT70422. You see our carrier's going to fit nicely on the back of the Jeep. This particular Jeep has tired size 255/75R17. As you can see, we're going to have good room, be able to open that tire right up over top of the carrier, fully open it with no problems.



Hollywood Racks SR2 Spare Tire Bike Racks Review - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we've got out the Hollywood Racks SR2 and we're test fitting it. Now the SR2 is a spare tire-mounted 2-bike rack. This has been designed to fit on most size tires anywhere from the 215 on up to the 12-1/2"-wide tires. Part number on it is HRSR2. It that's a nice job holding the bike in place. We've got two cradles here that do the job here on the top frame tube, and the incorporated strap will then go around your wheels, keep them from spinning and moving around while you head down the road. Since it does mount to the spare tire, we're still get to have access to get into the cargo area there.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that has tire size P255/75R17, we're doing a test fit on the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. This has been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Part number on it is C18110. As you can see, our cargo carrier going to fit on the back of the vehicle nicely here. This is going to have the expanded steel floor so the dirt, debris, stuff like that will fall down and through. Won't have to worry about it building up on top.



Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2007 Jeep Wranger Unlimited

Today on our 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Hopkins InSIGHT. This is a proportional flex mount trailer brake controller that's going to work great for one up to four axles. Part number is HM47297. We're also going to be using the universal installation kit for trailer brake controller. This is going to offer both a 7 way RV plug and a 4 pull flat. Part number on that is ETBC7. As a great feature we're going to have a constant monitor that's going between our brake controller and our trailer to let us know everything's connected properly. As you can see as I plug in my trailer a small red light's going to come on indicating it's connected.



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on this 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we are going to be test fitting the Stromberg Carlsen Cargo Carrier, part number CC-100. This cargo carrier has a 500-pound carrying capacity. It also has this nice mesh floor here on the bottom which will make it easier to clean. Also around the whole border of the cargo carrier we are going to have these tie-down points which you can use for either ratchet straps or bungee cords, whatever you use to secure your gear. Next I am going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first is going to be how much distance is added to your Jeep once the cargo carrier is installed. Go ahead and measure from the bumper.



Rightline Gear Jeep Top Duffel Bag Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimted

Today we are going to be taking a look at the Rightline Gear, Jeep Top Duffel Bag. Part number RL100D91. The Rightline Duffel Bag is great for keeping your extra sporting goods equipment or camping equipment up on top to free up space inside your Jeep. This will work with your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, your Jeep Wrangler, and even ones with hard tops, roof racks, or cargo baskets. This does work with other vehicles as well. This can carry up to 4.3 cubic feet of gear, and is made from a waterproof material, and has a covered zipper to make sure everything inside stays as dry as possible. The material also resists cuts and tears and has welded seams here to ensure that no moisture will get inside. It is also UV resistant to ensure that it will not fade over time. In addition to the main storage area, it has this side pocket here to store your smaller items.



Hopkins Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on this 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to review and install a Hopkins custom tail light wiring kit for towed vehicles. Part number HM56200. All right, this is what the wire harness looks like when it's installed on our Jeep. You can see it had its built in bracket here and a four pull cover for the four pull. Now, there's not much to see on this because everything else is installed inside the vehicle. Next, we'll go ahead and show you what all the parts that come with the kit. This is our main wire harness right here with diodes into converter, and you have two T connectors.



Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on this 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to review and install the Blue Ox base plate kit, part number BX1126. This is what the base plate looks like when it's installed on our Jeep. On our first glance, you can see it does sit below the bumper right here. Our base plate features removable arms. This is one of the arms right here. To install it's pretty simple. This has a weight capacity of 500 pounds, and works with 2 inch hitches only. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements, starting off with our ground clearance. Just up under here, we're going to have about 21 inches of clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 28 1/2 inches.

The part number for it is CC-100. First thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Ground clearance is going to be first. To the bottom of this bolt here, we're going to have about 19 1/2 inches.

Today on our 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x48 Cargo Carrier. The part number for this is C18110. This has a 300 pound weight capacity and is designed to work with both 1-1/4 and 2 inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Ground clearance is going to be first. To the bottom of this bolt here, we're going to have about 24 inches.



Rampage Jeep Rear Recovery Bumper Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we'll be showing you how to install the Rampage Rear Recovery Bumper for Jeeps with a swing away spare tire carrier, part number RA88606. This recovery bumper is sturdy and built for off road use. This replaces your Jeep's rear bumper and spare tire mount with a heavy duty rear bumper and a swing away spare tire mount. Your spare tire is no longer mounted to your factory tailgate, it operates with the swing away arm. This allows you to carry tire sizes up to 37". The weight of the spare tire is now on the frame, rather than the tailgate. The bumper features welded shackle mounts with removable D rings. That way you can perform recovery operations.

Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we'll be doing a test-fit of the Yakima SpareRide 2 - Spare Tire Mounted Bike Rack, part number Y02599. We've already got it loaded up on our Jeep just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like. It secures our bike in three spots. We have two zip strips for our top two tube here and then one zip strip for our down tube. The one for our down tube is going to be our anti-sway. That's going to help prevent a lot of the sway and movement in the bike from side-to-side as well as prevent bike to vehicle contact and bike to bike contact. We'll go ahead and remove those and then take off our bike. They're really easy to use.



Bestop Custom Rear Floor Liner Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Bestop Custom Rear Four-Liner in black, part number B5150401. Now all along the bottom of our floor mat, we have these treads, which are actually going to keep a lot of the dirt, debris and water in these channels and off of your carpet. The Bestop floor mats contour around the rails here at the front, over the center hump and over our side threshold. These mats are made out of a heavy duty material that won't crack or break over time. It also comes with nibs all along the bottom to keep our mat in place. The Bestop mats are quick and easy to clean.



Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on this 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be test-fitting the Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack, part number S63380. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now how the bike is attached to the rack, we're going to have four points of contact with our bike's frame. We're going to have three straps up top here and one off to the side which is going to be an anti-sway strap to keep it from going back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. Now it's always a good habit to go ahead and put the straps back into place once you're done just so you don't lose them while you're driving. With that done, I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first one is how much distance is added to the vehicle once your bike rack is installed. I'm going to go ahead and measure from the tire here, since that's the furthest point out.

Today on this 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2-Bike Rack, part number HR200. As you can see, we already have a bike attached to the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached, there's going to be 1 point of contact with your bike's frame, and that's going to be this frame hook at the top, which is padded to make sure it doesn't get scratched or damaged while you're installing it. It also has these hook-and-loop straps at the wheels to keep those in place as well. Let's go ahead and take the bike and set it aside. Now with the hooks, to get those to go up, there's a button you push up and the lift-up will be right here. When you do this, you want to make sure you hold onto the bike so it doesn't go falling into the vehicle once you release the hook.
