- Can a Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th Wheel Adapter be Used on a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Short Bed
- In order to determine if you will have enough clearance, measure from the center of the gooseneck ball in your truck forward to the back of the truck cab. That distance will have to be at least 4 inches or more than half the width of the trailer overhang.
For example if the measurement on the truck is 44 inches then the widest trailer you can tow safely is 80 inches. In order to get more offset you will need to use something that provides an actual offset that moves the pivot point back (the

- Light bars can sometimes interfere with the installation of the Hopkins Tailgate EasyLift, # 74211. I spoke with my contact at Hopkins to see if they know of any fit issues with a light bar and he told me they did have some reported complaints about light bars interfering on Dodge trucks, but he did not have any information on GM trucks.
I do have some information that will help determine if the EasyLift will fit with your LED light bar. To install the EasyLift on your truck, you will need t

- 4-Way and 7-Way Connector Needed for a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Body Style
- Yes, the connections for the 4-flat connector are internal on the Hopkins 7 and 4 Pole Connector, # HM40975. Once you plug the factory connector into the Hopkins connector, the 4-way and 7-way sockets will have power.
I attached an installation video on a similar truck for you to check out. Since you already have a 7-way connector on your truck, you will simply need to disconnect the factory connector from the 7-way socket and plug it in to the Hopkins socket.

- Can Brake Controller Cause the Trailer Running Lights Not to Work and Fuse Blow on 2007 GMC Sierra
- It might not be the brake controller that is causing the problem. It sounds like there could be a short on the trailer that is causing the fuse to blow. You will want to check the trailer wiring and make sure there are no nicks in the wiring that might have exposed wire touching the metal of the trailer frame. Also check the truck and trailer side connectors for corrosion that might be causing a short. Corrosion can also build up behind the connectors where the wires attach.
The 7-Way wiring

- Recommended Battery Charger for Marine Battery Running Backup Sump Pump
- What you are wanting to do is certainly possible, but because the # CTEK56158 does not have a maintenance mode, it could not be permanently connected to the battery and forgotten about.
My contact at CTEK tells me that their 7002 model, part # CTEK56353 does have a maintenance mode and could be continuously used to maintain your marine battery while remaining connected to the battery, and while the battery remains connected to the pump. Once the charger senses a voltage drop in the battery,

- Will UWS Truck Bed Toolbox UWS00161 Fit a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab
- I checked with UWS and the Slim Line box, # UWS00161, will fit a 1978 to 2010 full size, long or short bed, GMC truck. Your 2007 does fall into that category so the box should be a fit. To make sure, we always recommend that you compare the box measurements on the product page below the description and specs sections with your truck measurements.
I have also included a link to the main page for the toolboxes listed as fits for a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic. Just select your bed length from the li

- Derale Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter Recommendation for a 2007 GMC 3500HD Dually
- I would recommend you get a Derale Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter # D25782 as it comes with multiple adapter sizes to ensure that you get the correct size for your application.
I did some checking and it looks like you will need the 22 mm x 1.5 mm size for your 2007 GMC 3500HD. This is one of the included sizes in the # D25782. However, since you said you have a LBZ engine and I was under the impression that the 2007 trucks had the LMM engine the # D25720 would be a safe recommendation so as t

- Can I Use A Bed Liner With CURT Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch # C630-652 on 2007 GMC Sierra
- The chrome collar and cap of the CURT Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch # C630-652, will be mounted flush to the steel bed of your 2007 GMC Sierra truck. The bed liner will need to have a 3-5/8 inch hole cut in it to fit around the gooseneck ball. You will not install the bed liner between the chrome collar and the steel truck bed, but around it.
CURT recommends removing the bed liner before installation and then replace it after determining the correct position for cutting the hole in it. This h

- Towing Mirrors for 2007 GMC Envoy
- For your 2007 GMC Envoy, I would recommend either the CIPA Universal Strap-On Towing Mirror, part # 40375 or the CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part # 11953. These mirrors fit most factory mirrors, as long as they have the lip or ridge running around the edge of the mirror. The mirrors use clips and straps to attach, they need the lip running around the edge of the mirror to provide an attachment point.
There is no custom towing mirror available for your Envoy.

- Ladder Bike Rack Comparison: Swagman Bike Rack # S80630 vs. Topline Bike Rack # BR1210
- The Swagman RV and Motorhome 2 Bike Carrier, part # S80630, and the Topline 2 Bike Carrier RV Ladder Mounted Bike Rack, part # BR1210, are very similar and share many great features.
I would be more inclined to purchase the # S80630 because it has reflectors on the ends of each of the arms, it has more padding on the rack to protect the ladder, and I prefer the style of strap that is used over the # BR1210.

- Will the Bully Bolt-On Billet Aluminum Grille # BG-457 Install on a 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 1500
- As long as your 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 1500 SL is the new body style then this Bully Bolt-On Billet Aluminum Grille, part # BG-457, will install on your vehicle. If you have the old body style it will not work.
The easiest way to differentiate between the new and old body style is the shape of the factory grill. If your grill is completely square then you have the old body style, if your grill is wider at the top and then tapers down and is skinnier at the bottom then you have a new body st

- How to Alleviate Clicking Noise When Towing With Reese 18k Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch 30081
- I spoke with my contact at Reese about the clicking noise you have been experiencing while towing, and they did confirm that the locking jaw is made to have some slack or play to allow for the pin to rotate, so it should not fit too tightly around the king pin.
To alleviate the clicking sound, the best approach would be to adjust your brake controller to ensure that the braking on your 2007 GMC Sierra and the braking on your trailer are as closely synced up as they can be. When you press the

- Why is my Brake Controller Reading Overload and How Can I Find Where the Problem is?
- If your controller, item # 5500, is reading overload without the trailer connected then that means there is a short in the blue trailer feed wire on the vehicle.
If the controller is reading overload only when the trailer is connected then there is a short or overload in the trailer wiring or breaks.

- Class V Titan Hitch on a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic with a Royal Utility Box
- This item is not designed for your application with a Royal utility box. It is designed for trucks with the standard 8 foot bed only. While the hitch may work, no testing has been done to confirm the proper fit and function. This means there may be underlying factors that could cause a dangerous situation. Also, your utility box may have supports or brackets that would interfere with the installation of the hitch or affect it's functionality. If I can be of further assistance let me know.
