Trailer Hitch Installation - 1997 Ford F-250

Today on this 1997 Ford F250 Heavy Duty were going to be installing Curt Hitch part number 14001. Were going to go ahead and give you a couple final install dimensions which are going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little easier. From the top of the tube opening to the ground is going to measure 19 inches, and from the center of the pin hole, clear to the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure approximately 4 inches. Alright now well move on to our installation. Okay were up underneath the vehicle now and the first thing weve done is go ahead and lower the spare tire out of the way. This particular vehicle does not have any existing holes on the front of the frame for us to use for the hitch, so what were going to have to do is take the hitch, clamp it to the frame, and use the hitch as a template to drill all our holes out.
TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover Installation - 1998 Ford F-250

Alright, today on this 1998 Ford F-250 we are going to install part number TX238601 from TruXedo, their TruXport tonneau cover. Alright, you can see we have our parts all laid out. We have our two side rails here and here, our tonneau cover itself for the front and rear rail, and our clamps and some pads that go in the corners. So we will actually start off with the pads. We are just going to fill this corner right here. It just takes up the gap and keeps it a little more weather tight along the corners. We have one on each side to do. Alright, we will go ahead and take our tonneau cover and we are going to lay it across the front rail towards the cab of the truck. Then we will install one of our side rails. And that just slides right in to the side right here, to this inside track. With the passenger side done we will do the driver side. Now we will even out the side rails on the bed of the truck. Once you have the rails installed, go ahead and slide everything up forward to the cab. Make sure that bottom edge is over the top of the truck here. You might have a little bit of overhang and that will be ok. 1:05
Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Ford F-150

Today we are going to install part number 87183 from Hidden Hitch, and we are going to install this hitch on a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck. We will show you where the hitch mounts up on the vehicle. We are looking at the drivers side rail here: one, two, three on this side, and the same thing on the passengers side. Nice and easy all you have to do is the hardware in from the top on all holes and then we just lift our hitch into position.
Trailer Hitch Installation - 1999 Ford F250

Alright today we are going to install part number 41920 from Draw Tite. We are going to install this on a Ford F250 lite duty version pickup. The hitch will install in these pre existing holes in the frame here. There is also a bracket that needs to be installed at the end of the frame. That goes over the top of the rear set of holes, and there also has to be a hole inside of the bracket that needs to be drilled through the side of the frame. Our next step is going to be going ahead and temporarily bolting this bracket into place. We are going to just use existing hardware. That will just give us a guide for our drill bit to go on through. Okay we drilled out our pilot hole a 1/4 inch, then we will follow it up with a half inch bit. Now we are going to repeat everything for the other side.
