Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 15 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is six and a half inches. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our trunk.

To begin our installation, well need to remove the old wipers from the vehicle. To do this, well push the tab on the bottom side at the wiper here. Well push that in we can then pull it off of the wiper arm, being very careful not to allow the wiper arm to slap off against the windshield as it may break the windshield. With our old wiper removed, were now ready to install our new wiper. Well take our wiper and slide it in to the wiper arm allowing it to lock into place.
Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

Today on this 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, well be installing Glacier Chains Square Link Tire Chains, part number PWPLC1142, in conjunction with the rubber chain tensioner, part number PW100. To begin installing our chains, well remove the chains from the packaging and lay them out flat, making sure we get any tangles that are in the chains out. Once weve done that, well drape our chains over the tire, making sure that the tension holder cam is on the outside of the tire. We also want to make sure that the cross chain links that attach to the side chains hook toward the outside. Well move to the inside of the tire, here at the 6 oclock position, where well connect the two ends of the side chain together, taking out as much as the slack within the side chain as possible. Well then move to the outside of the tire, here again at the 6 oclock position.

We have already predetermined the positioning of this bike rack to the trunk lid of this Crown Victoria, to do that just refer to the instructions that come with the bike rack. Okay what were going to do first is to sit the bike rack up on the front and secure the front to our top straps to the top of the deck lid. We will secure the side strap near the taillight; we will secure the lower strap on the medal lid on the inside of the trunk lid.

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2003 Ford Crown Victoria

Today on this 2003 Ford Crown Victoria we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 119175KIT. We are in the trunk of the Crown Victoria and we want to locate the wires that we are going to need to tap into to power our wiring harness . We can actually access all of the wires over on the driver side of the vehicle behind the carpeting just behind the tail light assembly. To gain access to it we are going to need to remove a few pieces. There are a couple of fasteners holding the carpeting in place. There is one large one right here and then one smaller one here. For a little more clearance room I am going to remove this push pin here as well. To get a little more room I am going to remove the rear threshold cover and we have got four push pins holding it in place. Then we just pull the carpeting back. 00:57
Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Ford Crown Victoria

Today on this 2003 Ford Crown Victoria we are going to be installing Curt hitch part number 13707. We are underneath the vehicle and we are taking a look at the driver side frame rail. You can see there is really not much going on at the bottom of the frame We are actually going to have to take the hitch and clamp it up into position. We are going to use it as a template to drill out all four holes that we are going to be using to attach the hitch to the frame. This particular vehicle has some grounding clips that attach here at the end of the frame rail that we want to remove before we clamp the hitch up into position. 00:28
Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 1999 Ford Crown Victoria

Today we are going to be installing tail light converter part number 119175 on a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria. OK, we are inside the trunk of the vehicle, and to locate the wires that we are going to need to tap into for the harness, we are going to need to remove a few pieces from the trunk area. We need to remove this rear threshold piece, and then we will need to pull back the carpeting as well, that is right behind the tail light assembly. The threshold piece has four clips that we are going to need to remove that will allow us to pull it off. And the carpeting has one screw holding it on. So we are going to go ahead and remove those first. And we should be able to gain access to all the wires necessary over here on the drivers side. You can see the main lead going over to the passengers side is right here. OK, now that we have got the carpeting pulled back, you can see we have got the main wiring harness here feeding the drivers side tail light assembly, and we have got the harness that is coming across for the the passengers side assembly.
Trailer Hitch Installation - 1999 Ford Crown Victoria

Today we are going to be installing Curt hitch part number 13707 on a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria. OK, underneath the vehicle, we are going to go ahead and point out the mounting locations for the trailer hitch. There is an opening right here at the end of the frame rail that we can use to actually - we are going to take some C-clamps and clamp the hitch up into place. Then we can go ahead and drill our holes out, using the hitch as a template. The vehicle does have these ground clips at the end of the frame we want to go ahead and remove those before we get started, and we will put them back up once the installation is complete.
