Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Cadillac CTS
All right, today on this 2012 Cadillac CTS were going to install part number 118466 from Tow Ready. OK. Everything will get installed inside the vehicle. So the first thing we need to do is go ahead and open up the back hatch. All right, next well go ahead and remove the spare tire cover and then were going to have to remove the threshold as well. Well have to remove two covers from the hooks on the back of the threshold and then we can go ahead and pop it loose from the top.
Rain-X Latitude Wiper Blades Installation - 2012 Cadillac CTS
Today on this 2012 Cadillac CTS, were going to do a test fit of part number RX5079279 from Rain-X. This is their Latitude Windshield Wiper Blade. To start off the test fit, well go ahead and remove the original wiper blade. There is a tip that we have to lift up and its at the top of the arm and pull it away from the arm, thatll allow us to release the arm from the original wiper blade. You can go ahead and pull the tab, well go ahead and slide the wiper to release it. Now go ahead and put on the new Latitude windshield wiper blade.
Base Plate Wiring Harness Installation - 2003 Cadillac CTS
Today on this 2003 Cadillac CTS, were going to install part number TD10000 from Tow Daddy, their plug and tow universal kit. First thing we need to do is access the wiring harness and were going to remove the interior panels to get to the wire harness for the tail lights of the car. Well move the fasteners for the threshold and well also remove the fasteners for the carpeting on the inside and pull it out of the way. Well do this on both sides of the vehicle. Now, well go ahead and peel back interior carpeting so we can get access to the wires. This bundle of wires is what goes to the tail lights, so well look for our signals here.
WeatherTech Rear Floor Mats Review - 2003 Cadillac CTS
Today were going to do a test fit of part number WTW20 from Weather Tech on this 2003 Cadillac CTS. This is our semi-custom fit floor mat. Now well work with the black color today. This is also available as tan as part number WTW20TN and gray as par tnumber WTW20GR. Since these are semi-custom mat, they do have cutouts built into them so you can make them match your vehicle more appropriately. It also has a ridge around the edge of it and also channels on the inside to help keep dirt and debris contained in the mat and not in your carpet.
Highland Rear Floor Mats Review - 2003 Cadillac CTS
Today were going to do a test fit of part number from Highland; this is our floor mat for our backseat on this 2003 Cadillac CTS. This also comes in a gray color part number 45031 as well as tan part number 44031. A couple notes about this floor mat is that it is trimmed to fit the vehicle because its a semi-customed fit and those have a ridge all around and channels inside to help keep the debris contained on the matt and not in your carpet. This can also be easily removed and cleaned with ordinary soap and water. With that, thatll finish it for our test fit of part number 46031 on our 2003 Cadillac CTS.
Highland Cargo Floor Mat Review - 2003 Cadillac CTS
Today were going to do a test fit of part number 46045 from Highland on this 2003 Cadillac CTS. This is our universal cargo mat. This also comes in gray as part number 45045 as well as tan part number 44045. Now these mats are semi-custom fit; they do have cutout lines inscribed onto the mat so you can make your mat fit the car the way you want it to. And the mat does have a small raised edge all the way around and channels in the middle of it to keep dirt and debris contained in the liner and not in your carpet. These liners are easily removed and cleaned with just soap and water as well.
Blue Ox Base Plate Installation - 2003 Cadillac CTS
Today on this 2003 Cadillac CTS were going to install part number BX1646 from Blue Ox. Now the first steps involved is go ahead and remove eight pushpins from topside of the fascia. Next, just forward of the front tire on the fascia corner, well remove three pushpins on both sides. Well start off on the driver side and then work our way over to the passenger side. Next step is to go inside the fender well on the fascias corner; there are two nuts and bolt head nut to remove. To make the last fastener easy to remove, were going to go ahead and remove the side marker light.
Thule Raceway Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2011 Cadillac CTS
Today on our 2011 Cadillac CTS, we'll be test fitting the Thule trunk bike rack part number TH9001. This is a very simple install requiring no tools. We'll simply set the trunk bike rack up as required by the fit instructions. We'll then secure the two upper cables to the deck led between the rear window and the deck led itself. With the upper cables in place, we'll go ahead and pop the trunk to secure the lower cables onto the deck led and with all the cables in the correct location we can simply tighten it down using the ratcheting crank knobs securing the bike rack to the vehicle. And in just those few easy steps, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load the bike.
Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2011 Cadillac CTS
Today on our 2011 Cadillac CTS, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Quickback 2 trunk mounted bike rack part number Y02621. With our bike rack preassembled, we will first need to pop the trunk with the trunk pop, we can now simply set the bike rack on top of the deck led. We'll position the rubber bumpers so that the flat part is what makes contact with the deck led itself. A quick tech tip, before installing the bike rack make sure that the deck led is clean and maybe even waxed as this will help to protect the finish of the vehicle while the bike rack is installed. With the bike rack on the deck led, we'll simply attach the top cables to the lip of the deck led between the rear window and the deck led itself with the top tube nylon straps hooked into the deck led, this will hold the bike rack into place. We'll now go ahead and take the lower straps and attach them to the deck led.

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Cadillac CTS
Today we are installing part number 60830 which is a Hidden Hitch Class I Trailer Hitch. We are installing it on a 2004 Cadillac CTS. This also applies for Draw Tites part number 24767. First up you have to open up the back trunk to find where you way to get to the floor. This has to come out and this carpet has to come out also. Then this plastic panel should come out next. Then what we do is drag the rubber hangers off the exhaust so we can lower it and have some more room to work. We got our exhaust lowered and pulled out of the way. We had to pull it sideways so that we had to tie down and pull them to the sides. Now we hold our hitch up into place then mark the hitch with white paint so can drill our holes. This would be a very good time for a second pair of hands to help you hold up the hitch while the other marks the holes.
