Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2007 BMW 3 Series

Today on our 2007 BMW 3 Series were going to test fitting the Yakima 44-inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Racks part number Y07048. To mount our fairing to the vehicle well slip the four hooks over the front crossbar. We do want to make sure that we position the fairing evenly from left to right and between our towers. Once we have it positioned properly well come back and use the carriage bolt and wing nut on each of the outside clips to secure our fairing to our roof rack. With that done our fairing is secured and were ready to hit the road with a much quieter roof rack. Thats it for our test fit of the Yakima 44-inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Racks part number Y07048 on our 2007 BMW 3 Series..

Yakima Control Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2007 BMW 3 Series

Today, on our 2007 BMW 3 series, we'll be test-fitting a Yakima roof rack system. We'll be using the 48-inch bars, part number Y00408, the Landing Pad 11, part number Y00233, as well as the control towers, part number Y00214. Now, we've already got our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions and we're ready to mount it up on our vehicle. The first thing we need to do is open the doors at the four tension points around the corners of the vehicle. You can use your fingernail or a small screwdriver to help pry them open, but be very careful as they are plastic and they are finished in paint. Once weve done that we can take our four landing pads and begin to thread them on the mounting post.

Trailer Hitch Installation - 1999 BMW 323i

Today on this 1999 BMW 323i we are going to install part number C11174 from Curt. The first step would be to get into the trunk and remove the spare tire since the hitch itself mounts up to the bottom of the spare tire well. Our next step is to lay out our stiffener brackets that go inside the spare tire well. You are going to get two of these right here. You can see one of the arms is a little bit longer. This one is longer on this side than this one. The long armed side is going to go up against the vertical surface of the trunk pan. It is going to fit in these grooves right here and this edge should be pretty close to this top edge. 00:43
