This light-duty weight distributing system is especially designed for use with lighter-weight trailers and pop-up campers. The center mount single bar is contoured to avoid interference with center mounted jacks. Easy to set up and use. The lift mechanism is designed to prevent interference with gas bottles or battery trays. Works with any 2" receiver.
The integrated lifter bar feature provides the advantage of allowing a single person to operate from one side of the trailer. This system works with both side- and center-mounted tongue jacks. The sway control platform allows you to put a friction sway control on either side of the trailer.

I use it to pull a Trailmanor that weighs about 4100lbs. when loaded up.I have an "05" Durango and you can really tell the difference with this WDH. Coupled with a Tekonsha voyager brake it really takes a lot of the stress off either a long or a short haul. I am probably pushing it on weight with this hitch but so far so good. Be sure to use lubricants where it says to or you will hear and see what can happen.

Reese single bar hitch

Use it to tow a Casita 17' travel trailer (2300lbs empty) with my Ford Ranger. The single bar hitch works great. Had some reservations because it seemed inadequate but it does the job very well. The instructions were pretty useless though.

Easy to install. Improves vehicle handling. Not for use on trails and rough roads if your travel trailer have a limited clearance as the spring bar will reduce even more that clearance. My trailer clearance at the frame is 10 inches but at the spring bar there is no more than 4-5 inches left.

4 years, 25k miles on a 350-400 tongue weight Coleman/Fleetwood popup.
This system is amazing, as I can easily change the amount of "lift/leveling" by using a different link in the chain.
Used behind '01 and '07 Honda Odyssey, now with '05 Toyota Tundra (needed with OEM springs [too soft], not needed with added leaf spring).
Spring bar shows some wear at friction points, but nothing dramatic.
