Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit 1017-3
MX Series Brackets are designed specifically for vehicles with heavy-duty frames such as the Suburban and full-size pick-ups. The MX Series has removable/pull-out bracket arms.
MX Series Brackets do not require a cross bar (QD base) due to the heavy-duty nature of the vehicle's frame. The elimination of the cross bar simplifies installation, speeds up the hook-up process, and enhances the total appearance.
MX Series Brackets can be used with all Roadmaster motor home-mounted tow bars. Always make sure that the tow bar you choose is rated in excess of the weight of the towed vehicle with all its contents.
Note: MX base plates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball, such as the Draw-Tite, Reese, Hidden Hitch, Tow Ready or the Roadmaster brand Stowmaster or Tracker tow bars. The MX plates will work with the Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch such as the Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon and Falcon-2 towbars.
