MrGadget from Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. I have had at least 2 racks in the past which mount on the trailer hitch. Each was a disappointment. I saw this one and thought I'd give it another try. It is really outstanding. Very well built, heavy duty and it's especially great in that you can use it with a trailer hitch which is low to the ground and it is elevated which keeps anything from being close to the ground. We're going to use it with our Honda minivan, as well as my Suburban. Can't say how well made and how good a design this is. The only thing I am concerned about is we got the optional light kit and the lights don't seem to sit solidly in the carrier. They seem fairly loose, but I have wire-tied the cable to the basket frame so it won't fall out completely. I am really looking forward to using this carrier.
