The hitch was made by Curt Manufacturing who I had never heard of. This is a well made first class piece of equipment. It is for a new Mercedes GL450 and the construction is as good or better than the OEM hitch Mercedes wants a fortune for. Kudos to Curt! All the additional towing accessories I ordered including several hitch balls are good stuff. I have been towing for 40+ years and I recognize quality.
