I had this cover in Colorado (hi elevation = high UV rays) for about 5 years with no fading at all. Unfortunately, I ran it into a hitch on another vehicle and broke it, but it still looked new until then. I do think etrailer charges too much. It would be nice if it were made of metal (then it would be worth $15-20).
