The carrier installs easily over your spare tire with a simple hoop-and-strap design. The hoop fits over the top of your spare, and two sets of straps anchor the carrier to the tire.
The dual arms of the carrier adjust easily to accommodate any spare tire, even those that are offset to the left or right. To adjust the arms, simply open the quick-release lever, remove the center pin and rotate to the desired position. The same lever also adjusts the arms vertically, allowing you to decide the angle at which your bikes will rest.
The dual arm design allows SpareJoe to accommodate a wide variety of bike designs. The arms include anti-sway cradles with Velcro straps to hold your bikes firmly in place. Arms fold down against the spare tire when not in use.
