A well designed bike rack

The Thule T2 is very easy to use. Mounting and dismounting a bike takes literally seconds. I have this attached to a Valley hitch on my MDX and even over bumpy country back roads, the T2 was very solid and exhibits no movement. The ability for the T2 to tilt down to allow access to the cargo area without having to remove the bike was a big plus. The T2 is attached to the hitch using a bolt with a self-locking washer and a regular washer. This design allows for a rattle-free attachment but also means that a regular hitch lock will not work with the T2. To lock the rack, you would need to get the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock.
