Thule Parkway 4 Bike Folding Carrier for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receivers

Perfect for a weekly trip to the park or the annual family vacation, the Thule Parkway is an excellent addition to your vehicle for more convenient travel with your bikes. The careful and solid design of this 4-bike rack ensures the safe and easy transport of your bikes to your favorite destination. The convenient tilting mechanism allows for easy access to the rear cargo area of your vehicle, while an anti-rattle device secures the bike carrier to the hitch.

Features:

Upright bar of bike carrier tilts away from vehicle for easier access to rear cargo area.
Cushioned cradles are designed to protect bike frame while holding the bike firmly to the bike carrier.

Dual arm design offers best bike fit, minimizing the need for top-tube adapters.
Soft rubber straps secure bikes to cradles.

Built-in anti-rattle device reduces the vibration and noise of the rack in the hitch.

Optional Snug Tite lock (# THSTL2) is available to fit over anti-rattle device and secure the carrier to the hitch.

Includes strap to reduce movement of handle bars and wheels on bike rack.
Can be upgraded with optional Zip Stick accessory (#950) to provide more stability.

Attaches to bottom of upright bar on bike carrier.
Includes a strap for each bike that laces through Zip Stick which further secures bike to carrier and prevents back and forth movement.

Specs:

For use with 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" trailer hitches.

Can carry only 2 bikes when using with a Class I trailer hitch.

Measures 14-3/8" from center of hitch pin hole to upright bar of bike carrier. See detail below.

Only Thule hitch locks work on Thule carriers. Well worth the extra dollars. The Parkway does not have all the folding options of other Thule carriers, but as a ridgid carrier it does a great job for my family of 4. The Thule quality is second to none. Sweedish ingenuity, USA built, on a Sweedish car, couldn't ask for a better match.
