Edge Products Evolution Programmer
This programmer will improve driveability and deliver massive horsepower and torque gains to your truck. It has the ability to display and clear trouble codes and also adjust the speed and rev limiters. Incredibly, the Edge Evolution is the first programmer to keep on working once the ECU is flashed. By leaving the Edge Evolution attached, it will provide 0-60 and quarter mile times as well as display key parameters such as transmission temperature, RPM, oil temp and exhaust backpressure.
The Edge Evolution for the 6.0L Powerstroke offers advanced tuning options that allows adjustment of tire size and gear ratio for proper shifting. The Edge Evolution also has user-specific options for Speed and Rev Limiters and allows modification of shift points line pressure and idle.
The Evolution programmer automatically makes a backup of your stock program before proceeding to add a new program. This assures that you will have the stock program if/when you desire to reprogram your vehicle to its original stock program.
The Edge Evolution is also a powerful diagnostics tool. Not only can you view trouble codes your vehicle may be displaying - which in turn allows you to fix them, but yoiu can turn off that annoying "Check Engine" light when the problem has been addressed. No more trips to the dealer for a diagnostics scan.
The Edge Evolution's small, lightweight design allows personalized control with the touch of a button. With a backlit LCD screen, seeing and reading codes is now a simple process. The unit not only displays codes, but also displays a description of what these codes mean, which eliminates copying the code down and then finding a manual to look them up.
With the introduction of the Evolution, Edge has entered a new realm of the aftermarket diesel industry. Contained in this tiny module is the capability not only to improve driveability and performance, but also the ability to display and clear trouble codes, remove the speed and rev limiters and adjust power levels.
The Evolution connects directly into the OBDII port underneath the dash. Once connected the stock software is downloaded and the new Evolution software is uploaded onto the trucks ECM. All modifications are done during this process and can be just as easily be switched back to stock at any time.

The Edge Evolution Programs
- Level 1 - Transmission
- This setting controls the transmission only. It is safe to use while towing. It will provide firmer transmission shifts which helps increase the transmission life. It will not provide any additional engine performance increases. This level is also safe to combine with the Edge Products Juice module.
- Level 2 - Towing
- Adds 60 Horsepower - 100 Foot Pounds of Torque. If you plan to tow with this program, Edge strongly recommends that you make appropriate modifications to your exhaust system and install an EGT (exhaust gas temperature) gauge to aid in the prevention of potential damage to your engine.
- Level 3 - Performance
- Adds 100 Horsepower - 200 Foot Pounds of Torque. Edge strongly recommends that you make appropriate modifications to your exhaust system and install an EGT (exhaust gas temperature) gauge to aid in the prevention of potential damage to your engine. This program is not designed for towing. If you plan to tow, program your vehicle to the Tow program.
