Use the Boone Dock to store and organize your trailer hitch accessories. How it works... The Boone dock is composed of an upright bar with a foot at the bottom and an arm at the top. The foot carries the weight of the racks being stored on it, while the arm is attached to wall studs to help stabilize the Boone Dock. The upright bar has a "Dock Block" used to hold the hitch accessory. The Dock Block is made up a Cross Pin and Support Bar. The hitch pin hole of the hitch accessory is slid over the Dock Block's Cross Pin while the bottom of the shank rests on the Support Bar. Each Dock Block can be accessed from either side and therefore can store 2 hitch accessories, such as a bike rack and a cargo carrier. Cross Pins of different sizes can be switched out or additional Dock Blocks can be purchased to allow for even more storage. Features: Heavy duty carbon steel construction. Allows you to store bikes on your bike rack when not in use. Use your cargo carrier as a shelf in the garage. Perfect for organizing your garage or basement. Side load design makes hanging up your hitch gear quick and easy. Boone Dock pin height can be adjusted among 6 locations. Built-in brackets allows for the storage of cargo straps. Specs: Designed for hitch accessories (bike racks, cargo carriers, ballmounts) that slide into 2" x 2" trailer hitches. Thule and Yakima bike racks will require a special pin (# BH83747) to accommodate their built-in anti-rattle devices. An Additional Dock Block (# BH9580S) can also be purchased to work with these racks and double the storage capacity. Can hold 4 hitch accessories. Note: Hitch accessory sizes and shapes can limit the number of those stored on a Boone Dock at one time. Additional Dock Blocks (Cross Pin and Support Bar) are available for even more storage.
