This self-locking ball mount is constructed of polished billet aluminum. It carries a heavy-duty, gross trailer weight capacity of 10,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 1,500 lbs. Featuring up to a 5" rise or 4" drop, it houses a chrome-plated shank with both 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls.

This cutaway view of the shank on a non-adjustable ball mount shows the locking mechanism in motion. As you turn the key, the locking pins will extend out through the pin holes to secure the ball mount in the trailer hitch.
