Used for securing a vehicle to the bed of a trailer. The snap hook and ring form a loop around the axle. Great for tight spots where you can not ratchet down the strap. Often used in enclosed trailers, the front of the vehicle will be secured with tie-back straps and then the back will be ratcheted down with standard car tie-downs.
