This solid aluminum ball mount limits rattling in the hitch receiver. The pin weaves through a threaded hole in the ball mount to clamp it against the receiver tube; a "gold wedge" fills in any gaps between the ball mount and receiver tube. The annoying "clanking" is now gone and the drivetrain is better protected. The hitch pin includes a brass lock with a dust cover to protect it from road debris. With a maximum 10,000lbs gross towing weight, this ball mount slides into any 2" hitch receiver and offers a 1-1/4" ball shank hole with a bushing for 1" ball shanks.
