1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Stabilizer
This stabilizer decreases bike rack, cargo carrier and ball mount movement within 1-1/4" receiver tubes. The accessory shank slides through the square sleeve on the hitch stabilizer and then into the trailer hitch. To take the slack out of the connection to eliminate rattling and ensure a more quiet ride, simply turn the knob on the stabilizer when it is in place over the trailer hitch.

Anti Rattle Device - works to reduce vertical movement - could only mount it with bolt under receiver not mountable on side. Probably worth the money but is a bit expensive for a simple steel bracket with a hand tighten bolt.

I bought this device because I had a lot of play between my hitch and ball mount. When towing without it, the hitch sounds like it is tearing itself apart. This anti-rattle device slips on very quickly and does an incredible job at reducing the vibrations between the hitch and ball mount. Every once and a while you have to retighten the knob and I question why they would use plastic on the knob instead of something stronger. So far I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it if the rattling in your hitch is a little unbearable.
