The hitch would not fit into my receiver without first fileing it. My receiver was old and has been used signfigantly. The hitch should have fit into the reciver better.
The hitch extends out from my bumper for approximatley a foot. It is not necessary for the hitch to be this long, for my application. Some people want the hitch to extend out further, so they can open the tailgate while hitched to the trailer. I didnt want the added length.
