You can utilize Reese's improved Select Plus fifth wheel hitch on your short bed pickup with this hitch's included round-tube slider. The round tube style prevents binding over continued use and offers a 12" fore and aft travel to maximize your turning clearance. A locking jaw gives you peace of mind on hookup, staying closed if the trailer is correctly coupled with the hitch.

18K Select Plus Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with Round Tube Slider by Reese, Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch. The hitch features the Signature Series Fifth Wheel Head with a round tube slider unit designed for short-bed pickups.

  • Improved locking jaw will not open when the hitch and king pin of the trailer are properly connected

  • 4-Way pivot - front to back and side to side - to aid in hookups on uneven ground
    • 6 Degree side-to-side pivot
  • Wide stance one-piece legs are designed for improved stability
  • Quick installation, strong performance, and easy removal in just seconds
  • Allows full access to the truck bed
  • Durable powder coat, black paint finish for long-lasting good looks
  • Round tube slider provides 12" of travel front to back
  • Fifth wheel trailer can be locked to the the fifth wheel hitch with a padlock (sold separately)

Round Tube Slider
Designed for short-bed trucks to provide turning clearance and prevent damage to truck and trailer in tight places at low speeds. Without a slider, a 45 degree turn may cause damage. However, with a slider and a minimum 13" pin box extension, the extra clearance eliminates interference on turns up to 80 degrees.
