This rack fits firmly over the ball mount of your 2" receiver, enabling you to tow your boat or trailer while carrying three bikes.
Swagman Towing Bike Rack
Features:
- 3 bike carrier that mounts to the shank of a Class III, 2" square ball mount (not included).
- Includes 3 Bolts to ensure a snug fit around ball mount
- Kraton vinyl cushioning helps protect frames and offers additional gripping power
- Flexible top plate accommodates several different frame sizes
- Turning knobs with top plate secure bikes to the rack
- Bikes can be locked to the rack with 1 padlock (sold separately)
Specs:
- Designed for 2" x 2" trailer hitches
- A minimum 10" clearance is required between the hitch pin hole and the ball hole for mounting
- Use Ball Mounts 2736, 80233 or D-28
- Extra-Long Ball Mounts with a Rise/Drop usually do not work because of the angled metal supporting the ball mount face
- Base of rack measures 3-1/8" long
- NOTE: The trailer hitch's tongue weight capacity is reduced by the weight of the bike rack and the bikes when towing
