Today on our 2011 Toyota Sienna well be test fitting the Surco 24 inch by 60 inch cargo carrier, part number 52018. To mount this carrier to our vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes and secure the carrier with the standard five eighths inch pin and clip. Now well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 12 inches of ground clearance at the rear of our cargo carrier and about a half an inch of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of our bumper. Overall weve added about 26 and a half inches of length to the rear of our vehicle.
Rola Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Toyota Sienna
Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna well be test fitting the Rola 23 inch by 56 inch railed cargo carrier, part number 59502. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, well line up the hitch pin holes and secure the carrier with the standard five eighths inch pin and clip. Next well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 15 and a half inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier, about six and a half inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of our vehicle. Overall weve added about 30and a half inches of length to the rear of the vehicle. Weve got about 14 inches of space between our tail pipe and the closest part of the carrier.

To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well add up our hitch pin holes and then secure the carrier with a standard 5/8ths pin and clip. Now well go over some clearance measurements. Weve got about 16 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier and about 7 inches of clearance between the closest part of the bumper and the closest part of the carrier. Overall, weve added about 33 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle.

To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we need to insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our hitch pinhole and we'll secure the carrier with the standard 5/8 pinning clip. We won't be able to use the carrier in the folded-up position due to inadequate clearance for the bumper. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We've got about 18 and a half inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier and about 10 inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the bumper.

Now, there's not enough bumper clearance to use this carrier in its upright position so we'll just use it as a flat carrier. To mount the carrier to the vehicle, we'll insert the shank into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the hitch pinholes and secure the carrier using a standard 5/8-inch pinning clip. Next, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We've got about 13 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier and about six inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the bumper. Overall, we've added about 26 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Toyota Sienna
Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna, we'll be test fitting the Curt 20-inch by 48-inch cargo carrier, part number C18145. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our hitch pin hole, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down using a wrench. Next, we're going to go over a handful of clearance measurements. We've got about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance and 1 inch of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the bumper. Overall, we've added about 21 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle.
Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 Toyota Sienna
Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna we'll be test-fitting the Thule Moab Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number TH690. Now our vehicle's already equipped with a roof rack system, so we're ready to begin installing the basket. We'll place the basket on top of the crossbars where we'll then center it with the vehicle. Once we have the basket where we want it on the vehicle we'll use the included hardware to go underneath the crossbars and clamp it to the vehicle. With all our hardware tight our basket is clamped to the vehicle. We can then install the hardware covers and with the covers installed our basket is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load it up.
SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box Installation - 2012 Toyota Sienna
Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna we'll be test-fitting the SportRack Aero XL Cargo Box, part number A90275. To begin our test-fit we'll simply place our cargo box on top of our crossbars and line up the holes in the cargo box with our crossbars. We'll now go ahead and center the box with the vehicle. We can then take the included hardware, putting the metal U-clamp underneath the crossbars and securing it with the included wing nuts. And with all four clamps in place and tight our cargo box is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load it up. One quick measurement, the cargo box will add 23 inches of height to the vehicle from the roof line.
