Today on our 2003 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number RKY1014. To begin our test fit, well place the head of the bike rack over our front crossbar bring the rubber coated steel straps underneath the crossbar and secure it back to the head of the bike rack. We can then move to the rear mounting point of our bike rack where well use a clamp to go underneath the crossbar and secure it using the wing nuts included with the bike rack. Well then move back to the head of the bike rack and secure the rubber coated steel straps using an Allen wrench also included with your bike rack. Now that our bike rack is secured to the vehicle we can reinstall the head cover, then well make sure the skewer is opened up and ready for the front fork of our bike. Also, well make sure our rear wheel strap is undone and out of the way.
