Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we'll be test-fitting part number c18145, the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier. To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tightened, this is how our cargo carrier would look like on your vehicle. Now, well give you some measurements. Form the closest point of the cargo carrier's side to the back of the vehicle is 4 inches. The exhaust on the Camry exits the passenger rear and is approximately 8 inches from the cargo carrier so there may be some heat transfer while driving down the road.
Rola Roof Cargo Basket Installation - 2011 Toyota Camry
Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Rola Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, product number 59504. With our vehicle equipped with the Akima Roof Rack and our basket already pre-assembled, we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by placing the basket on top of the crossbars. We'll center it from left to right with the vehicle. From that point, we can tighten it down using the included hardware. With the wind nuts tight, our cargo carrier is secured and we're ready to go ahead and load it up.
