There is no Class III receiver hitch available for the 2004 Subaru Legacy. We do have an adapter that will fit the class II 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch, # 80303 that would allow you to use a 2 inch accessory in your class II receiver. When using an adapter, you must take into account that your tongue weight will be reduced by 50 percent so the weight of your bikes and rack could not exceed 100 or 125 pounds, depending on which hitch you purchase.
