Today on this 2011 Nissan Sentra, we're going to test with the Thule Helium Bike Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches, part number TH970XT. We've already removed the adapter necessary to fit our 1-1/4" hitch. Let's go ahead and install our bike rack. The hand wheel on the back of the shank will be used to tighten down the rack and pull out any other rattle between the rack and the hitch. Once it's tightened down, we can lock it in place with the key. Then we'll install our safety pin.
Today on our 2011 Nissan Sentra, we are going to do a test fit of the Thule Doubletrack Platform style 2 bike carrier. Lets go ahead and mount our rack into our 1-1/4 hitch. This bike carrier also comes with an adapter sleeve that will allow you to put in a 2 hitch. Once you get the hole lined up, we will install our anit-rattle bolt. The bolt can be tightened down with the applied wrench that comes with the install kit, or a wrench. Alright with the anti-rattle bolt tightened down we can go ahead and install our lock.
Today were looking at a Nissan Sentra, were going to do a test fit of the SportRack 2 bike easy hitch mount rack with the wheel based mounts for inch and and 2 hitches, part number a30901. Lets go ahead and install our rack. Were setup to use 1-1/4 hitch, but if we had a 2 hitch we could use our adapter sleeve. First we will go ahead and thread in our anti-rattle bolt, Im using a wrench to tighten down that anti-rattle bolt. Now with the anti-rattle bolt tightened down, we will install our safety pin. Now I will go ahead and give you a few measurements.

Our RoadGear rack will come with a tightening tool, but a wrench will work as well. Now that our rack is mounted in the hitch we will give you a couple of measurements.
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. To install our carrier, we'll begin by placing it on top of our crossbars. We'll open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our front crossbar and then we'll tighten it down with the T-bolt and wing nut. After its tightened down we can go ahead and slide the cover back into place and we can reinstall our skewer. At the back we'll need to slide the clamp over our rear crossbar and again we'll tighten it down with a T-bolt and wing nut. Now we're ready to load our bike.
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Domestique Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number th513. To begin our test fit, we'll sit the head of the bike carrier on top of our front crossbar. We'll fit the clamp around and tighten it down with the included Allen wrench. At the rear of the bike rack we'll position the clamp over the rear crossbar and again use the included Allen key to tighten it down. With our bike rack secured to the roof rack we can go ahead and replace our skewer. We'll make sure that the wheel strap is open and then we'll be ready to mount our bike.
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test rating the Swagman Fork-Style Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number s64710. We'll place the bike rack up on top of our crossbars. At the front, we'll fit the two U-bolts around the cross bars and use the wing nuts to secure the front of the bike rack. Next we'll move to the back of the bike carrier. We'll fit the U-bolt through the carrier from the top this time. We'll take the clamp and two wing nuts to clamp around the bar from the bottom.
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1014. We'll go ahead and lift up the bike carrier and sat it on top of our crossbars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the carrier around our front bar and lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. At the back we use the clamp and tighten down with an Allen wrench as well. Once we've done that we're ready to load up our bike. We'll pick the bike up, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer.
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1011. Now with our roof rack system already assembled and installed on the vehicle we'll sat the carrier onto the crossbars. It's important that the carrier is perpendicular to the crossbars and parallel to the vehicle to ensure that the brackets have a proper fit onto the crossbars. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front crossbar and hook them into position. We'll then move to the rear of the carrier. This is where we'll loosen up the bracket, swing it around the underside of the rear crossbar and use the included Allen key to tighten it down.
Alright, today on this 2012 Nissan Sentra we're going to do a test fit of RockyMounts TieRod Bicycle Rack, part number RKY1014. Ok, now our Sentra has already been equipped with a roof rack using the elliptical bars so all you do is place our bike rack on top of it. Let's start off by setting the front part of the bike rack on top of the front crossbar and make sure that the straps go underneath and around to the clips on the front of the bike rack. Then we'll go ahead and raise up the back half and align the clamp up with the back bar. With the bike rack loosely attached, we'll go ahead and move around to the spot we want and then we'll go ahead and tighten it down. We'll go ahead and tighten down the inaudible for the back bar and then we'll go ahead and use a 6mm Allen key to tighten down the front clamp.
