Carrying bikes on a hitch is the safest method plus the hitch is versatile should you ever need to tow a trailer or use a hitch mount cargo carrier. The most popular hitch for your 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is # 75471. This is a 2 inch hitch so you can use up to a 5 bike rac

  • Will a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit on a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe with a Rear Spoiler
  • The other places you visited are correct. A trunk mount bike rack should not be used on your 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe because it could damage the spoiler and because the bike rack cannot be safely mounted to the vehicle. A trailer hitch is going to be the best and safest option. A hitch has other possible uses as well. Should you ever need to tow a trailer you can. Questions from Hyundai Santa Fe owners about this product

  • Will the Thule T2 Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
  • After performing some test fits on a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe using the Thule T2 bike rack, we have determined that the rack will not clear the rear bumper of the vehicle. But I do have a possible solution for you. You can use the Softride Dura, # SR26247, and replace the shank on it with the extended shank, # SR26033. This will provide you with enough clearance to clear the vehicle and with the rack tilted out, you can open the rear hatch while the bikes are still attached.

You will need to take a measurement to determine whether it would offer enough clearance to work on your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. Measure from your hitch pin hole to a point past your bumper and anything else that might get in the way of the rack or bikes. If this measurement is less than 10-1/2 inches, the rack would work for

RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

Today we have with us a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and were going to be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod Roof Mounted Bike carrier part number RKY1014. Our vehicle already has a full factory roof rack so were ready to go ahead and mount our bike rack to the bars. To fit our bike rack, well place it on top of our bars and put the head of the rack on our front bar making sure its wrapped the rubber-coated steel strap on the bar. Well fit them back into the head and tighten them down with the Allen key. Once weve done that, we can reinstall the cover of the head of the bike rack. At the back of the bike rack, well take our rear clamp, fit it around the bar and use the included wing nut to tighten it down.
