Questions from Honda Civic owners about this product
- Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Honda Civic EX-L
- We have many bike rack options for your 2011 Honda Civic EX-L, however, you will first want to decide on what type of bike rack you prefer. There are three types of bike racks, trunk mount, hitch mount and roof mount.
A trunk mount bike rack like the Thule Raceway 2 Bike Rack, # TH9001, will be the most cost effective option. This bike rack uses 4 ratcheting cables to attach to your trunk and can support two bikes up to 35 lbs each. I have attached the installation instructions and a demonst

- Can 1 Bike Be Placed in the Last Bike Position on a Thule Raceway Trunk Mount Bike Rack
- First, you can use the last bike position if you wanted to but the preferred method is to have it closest to the vehicle which puts less stress on the rack and vehicle.
Thule, the manufacturer, did not put locks on both sides because they are really not needed. When locked, the right side cables cannot be released so if the left side is removed, they still cannot get the rack off of the vehicle. The locks are meant as a deterrent rather than a fool-proof method of locking the rack to the vehi

- Do the Lower Straps of the Thule Raceway Go Under the Trunk Lid on 2007 Honda Civic LX 4 dr
- I checked with Thule and you need to install the lower hooks onto the lower edge of your trunk lid. Check out the video I attached. It is a different vehicle as yours but the installation process will be the same. Opening the trunk is required to get the lower cables in place. As thin as the hooks on the straps are they should not interfere with your trunk closing. You may want to check to make sure that just the hook is under the trunk lid.

- Recommended Trunk Mounted Rack to Carry 2 Bikes on a 2005 Honda Civic
- The # TH9001 Thule Raceway 2-bike rack will work on the coupe, sedan, or hatchback Si models of the 2005 Honda Civic. The Raceway comes with anti-sway cradles and a built-in cable lock, and it has a curved shape that lets it clear most factory spoilers. It is also very easy to use, since the attachment straps are tightened with a simple knob.
I am including links to the installation instructions and a couple videos showing the various features and a typical installation.

- Thule Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Options for a 2006 Honda Civic SI with Factory Rear Spoiler
- I spoke with my contact at Thule and they said the Thule Raceway Bike Rack, # TH9001, is designed to fit all models of the 2006 Honda Civic, but they have not tested this bike rack on the SI model with rear spoiler. Unfortunately we have not had a chance to test our bike racks on SI models with rear spoilers either. This bike rack may fit on your vehicle, however, I cannot give you a straight yes or no answer if it will fit. I can tell you that we have not had a complaint of a factory spoiler in

- Trunk Mount 2 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2010 Honda Civic For Use Every Weekend
- If I were using a bike rack every weekend and removing it during the week, I would opt for a hitch bike rack and receiver hitch for my 2010 Honda Civic. A hitch mounted rack will be much easier to install and remove, will allow access to the trunk when installed and will not damage the finish on the back of the vehicle like a trunk mounted rack can, especially if it is installed and removed a lot.
The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch, # 24763, is an economical hitch choice that is not that

- Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2004 Honda Civic With Factory Spoiler
- We have many trunk mount bike rack options that were designed to work with factory spoilers. For your 2004 Honda Civic EX, I recommend looking at the Thule Raceway 2 Bike Rack, # TH9001. This bike rack was designed with factory spoilers in mind and should work well with your Civic.
The reason I recommend this bike rack over other trunk mount racks is because it uses 4 ratcheting cables to secure the bike rack to your truck rather than 6 straps. You will not have to worry about straps flying

- Will the Thule Raceway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid

Any time you place something on the trunk like a bike rack and add the weight of the bikes, you can experience some deformation of the bumper or where ever the rack attaches to the vehicle. Questions from Honda Civic owners about this product
- Comparing and Contrasting the Swagman XTC-2, 2 Bike Carrier and SportRack 2 Bike Racks
- All three of these platform bike racks are very similar when compared to one another. There are some differences though that I will outline to give you a better idea of what each has to offer and what might work best on your 2007 Honda Civic.
To start with, all carriers can carry two bikes, but they all have a different overall capacity in terms of weight. The Swagman XTC-2, # S64670, has a capacity of 35 pounds per bike, or 70 pounds total. The Swagman 2 Bike Carrier, # S64650, has a capaci

- Will Swagman 2 Bike Wheel-Mounted Bike Carrier # S64670 Fit a 2006 Honda Civic SI
- I would recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24763 for your 2006 Honda Civic. This hitch is custom-fit for your vehicle, and requires no drilling to install.
The Swagman 2-bike rack, # S64670, will work well with this hitch, but I would recommend that you check the weight of the bikes to make sure they are less than 35lbs each. As long as the bikes are 35lbs or less each, the Swagman rack would be a good choice for your application.
To lock the bike rack to the trailer hitch, you would

- Bike Carrying Options for 2002 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan
- The answer to your question will depend on how many bikes you want to transport and whether you were interested in a hitch mounted rack or a trunk mounted option.
If you wanted to go the hitch mounted route, you would start with installing the Draw-Tite Class I receiver, part # 24706. Due to the low tongue weight capacity, Class I receivers are limited to carrying two bikes.
You would then choose a Class I compatible bike rack. You can see our selection by clicking on the provided link. Th

The Gateway bike rack uses molded rubber pads that will last longer than the soft rubber pads of the Passage bike rack.

Questions from Honda Civic owners about this product
- Options for Carrying Three Bikes with 1994 Honda Civic 4 Dr Sedan
- Although it will indeed physically fit on your vehicle, Thule does not recommend using any 3-bike carrier on your 1994 Civic. In the opinion of Thule, the attachment points on the vehicle where the rack would attach are not strong enough to handle the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the bicycles. Attempting to carry three bikes could possibly result in damage to the vehicle and the loss of the rack and bikes during transport.

We can then bring the clamping device underneath the crossbar and tighten it down using the Allen wrench included within the bike rack.

Normally, it is always recommended that the bike be loaded on the location closest to the vehicle.
But I spoke with my contact at Highland, the manufacturer, and they said that you could place just 1 bike in either position though the spot closest to the vehicle is recommended. I have incl
